Corrections, disputes and removals

Cheltenham Paving Contractor Guide is a free directory of paving contractors in the Cheltenham area. Your listing is built from publicly available business information, and your score is calculated from public Google reviews using a single, consistent rubric applied to every contractor we list. Being listed costs nothing, and paying us can never change your score or your position in the directory. Corrections to your details

If your business name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, or service descriptions are wrong in our directory, we can fix them. To request a correction, provide the accurate information and give us something to verify it against, such as your website, Google Business Profile, or other public business records. Once confirmed, the correction stays in place even when we refresh our data from public sources in future months.

Disputing your score

Your score comes from Google reviews analysed through our published rubric. We do not hand-edit scores. If you believe your score is wrong, a dispute means you are claiming the data we used is incorrect, for example the listing was matched to the wrong business, reviews were attributed incorrectly, or the summary misrepresents what reviewers actually wrote. We will re-check the source data and regenerate your listing. A dispute is not a request for a higher number; it is a challenge to the accuracy of the input data.

Removal requests

We remove listings when a business is permanently closed, a duplicate entry, or outside the scope of the guide. Our verification cycle runs monthly and automatically catches and removes closed businesses. If your listing is accurate, active, and in scope, a removal request will be declined, and we will explain why plainly.

How we respond

Every request gets an acknowledgement within 5 business days. Confirmed removals are completed within 7 days. If we decline your request, you receive a clear explanation of the reason.
